I’ve created a Mailchimp account to help support my *aspirations* as a writer!
This is totally shameless, and as a person who vehemently slammed shameless self promotion I know I am being my own worst enemy right now, but I would love to have anyone interested in my writing sign up for my newsletter!
I promise I won’t send more than one a month and I will make sure to give something away with it!
To kick it off I think I am going to do a book giveaway, so if you would like to sign up for my newsletter I will put you into the pot for the first one. Make sure to list three books you would be interested in receiving for your prize and I will announce what book I chose when the giveaway starts.

Woohoo! I’m signing up. This is the second time this week I’ve heard someone reference this Mailchimp thing. I still have no clue what it is, but the picture is becoming clearer, I think… You’re sending us all monkeys in the mail, right? 😉

Exactly. I knew you’d get it. It’s a way to collect actual email addresses so you can host giveaways, send newsletters, and, if you aspire to be an author (as I am) you have a mailing list for when your book is (hopefully) nearing publication.
That being said, I promise I won’t be spamming anyone :). If I do send emails it will be infrequent and with the promise of prizes 🙂 ( mostly of the cereal box variety, yay!)
