My name is Jonathan James Olivier. I was raised in California, educated at UCLA, and now I live in Japan where I work as an English teacher. I am a husband to a beautiful woman and father to an amazing daughter.
I am also a writer and aspiring novelist.
On this website you will find a selection of the things I have written recently. In addition to the stories from 10 words I also have a collection of my current fiction, some opinion pieces, and book reviews.
I offer editing services to any and all levels of writing as well, so please feel free to contact me for details.
I manage two other blogs as well. One is about my fitness advice and how to achieve a lean body lifestyle without needing a gym. The other chronicles my adventures as a foreigner teaching preschool children in Japan. You can find out more details about these sites by clicking the ‘blogs’ page on the left of the screen.

Having just read your post about blogging and followers, I certainly don’t expect you to follow me, why would you be interested in random posts and pages about cats, Greece, me living on a boat, and writing for yacht magazines? But I would like to follow you as you seem like an intelligent and erudite person, who might answer a question now and then that I might put to you…..
